Dr. Muhammad Hammad completed a bachelor’s and master’s degree in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. Following this education, he achieved a PhD degree in the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, Topi, Swabi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. As a researcher deeply immersed in the nuances of Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, and the Security of the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), he has carved a niche in these rapidly evolving disciplines. He has already authored one book “Computer aided engineering design and manufacturing: A fourth industrial revolution perspective”. As an engineer, researcher, and scholar, He embodies the spirit of inquiry and innovation that drives the modern world of engineering and technology.
Professor Manos Panaousis is a leading academic in cyber security and currently serves as co-director of the Centre for Sustainable Cyber Security at the University of Greenwich. He holds a B.Sc. in Informatics and Telecommunications from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Athens University of Economics and Business, and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Kingston University, London. His academic career includes postdoctoral research at Queen Mary University of London and a visiting role at Imperial College. He previously held academic posts at the Universities of Brighton and Surrey before joining Greenwich, where he progressed to full Professor. He has led and contributed to projects funded by the European Commission, the UK’s National Cyber Security Centre, and EPSRC, reflecting the impact of his research at national and international levels. His expertise supports resilient, privacy-preserving systems in complex digital environments.
Hassan Ali holds a B.Sc. Industrial Engineering degree from the University of Engineering and Technology, Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2021, graduating as the top-ranked student and recipient of the university Gold Medal. He later achieved his MS in Mechanical Design and Manufacturing Engineering from the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology, in 2023. In addition to his research contributions, he is the co-author of the textbook “Computer-Aided Engineering Design and Manufacturing: A 4th Industrial Revolution Perspective”, which has just been officially released. His expertise and research interests include computational methods in metal additive manufacturing, process optimization, and advanced design methodologies for next-generation manufacturing technologies.
Dr. Wasim A. Khan is life member of the Pakistan Engineering Council, Chartered Engineer of Engineering Council, UK; Fellow of Institution of Mechanical Engineers, UK; Elected Senior Member of Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, USA and Book Series Editor of CRC Press, Taylor & Francis Group (USA). He is the Founder of 4iR Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd., a startup incorporated in Pakistan. He specializes in Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 applications.
