Chittaranjan Subudhi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social Work, School of Social Sciences and Humanities, Central University of Tamil Nadu (established by an Act of Parliament), Thiruvarur, India. He earned his PhD in Mental Health from the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the National Institute of Technology Rourkela, India. His research spans diverse areas including health and mental health, medical anthropology, family and child welfare, disability studies, and tribal health issues. Subudhi teaches courses in Psychiatric Social Work, Working with Individuals and Communities, Qualitative Research, ICTs in Social Development, and Health System Management. He has authored and published numerous papers in reputed national and international peer-reviewed journals. His professional expertise encompasses university teaching, research consultancy, fieldwork supervision, mentoring postgraduate students, conducting soft skill training and professional development programmes, as well as organizing national and international conferences.
