Playwork began in the adventure playgrounds, and is now a regulated profession in the UK, China, America, Japan, Australia and Europe. Introducing a wealth of empiricial evidence relevant to playwork theories from a wide range of disciplines, this book explores how practitioners can combine theory and practice to develop evidence-based practice.
