Autore

Dr. NICK HENRY is a Principal Consultant for GHK Consulting Ltd and a founding member of Motorsport Research Associates. Trained as an economic geographer, and a published academic for 20 years, he has directed and authored the major international publications and studies of the motorsport industry, including those on the UK's Motorsport Valley cluster. He acted as research adviser to the UK DTI Motorsport Competitiveness Panel and currently undertakes research and evaluation within the fields of public policy, international regional economic development and economic and urban geography (Nick.Henry@ghkint.com).

Dr. TIM ANGUS is a founding member of Motorsport Research Associates and a freelance consultant. Following doctoral study on the Italian motorsport industry, he has undertaken a decade of research and consultancy projects concerned with the international motorsport industry. He combines comprehensive knowledge of the twists and turns of the global motorsport industrywith social science training.

MARK JENKINS is Professor of Business Strategy and Director of Graduate Programmes at Cranfield School of Management. Prior to joining Cranfield he held positions at Nottingham University Business School, Massey Ferguson Ltd and the Lex Service Group. He is the author of a number of books on strategic management issues, has published numerous journal articles and is on the editorial boards of British Journal of Management, Long Range Planning, Organization Studies and the Journal of Management Studies. He is chairman of the European Case Clearing House (ECCH) and a member of the RAE 2008 Panel for Business and Management. He is currently researching the role of knowledge and innovation in Formula 1 motorsport. (mark.jenkins@cranfield.ac.uk).

CHRIS AYLETT is Chief Executive of the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA), the world-leading motorsport industry global network with offices in the UK, USA, China and South Korea. The MIA has nearly 350 companies in membership, which transact over $5 billion of global business. Worldwide membership includes F1 and World Rally teams, major promoters, leading manufacturers, circuit operators, and service providers. F1 Business magazine rates him amongst the "most influential in world motorsport". Chris was a successful sports car driver, team owner and series promoter and created his own multi-million pound sporting goods distribution group. He regularly leads motorsport business groups to major exhibitions and organises B2B motorsport conferences throughout the world.
