Introducing English for Research Publication Purposes

There has been growing scholarly research and interest in writing for academic publication over the past decade and the field of English for Research Publication Purposes (ERPP) has established itself as an important domain within English for Academic Purposes (EAP). John Flowerdew is a Visiting Chair at the University of Lancaster and a Visiting Research Fellow at Birkbeck, University of London. He was previously a professor at City University of Hong Kong and at the University of Leeds. Pejman Habibie is an Assistant Professor of TESOL & Applied Linguistics at Western University, Canada. His research interests include EAP, writing for scholarly publication, and academic literacies. He is also a founding co-editor of the Journal of English for Research Publication Purposes.
