Main topics are the effects of phytoestrogens like Isoflavones, which are present in large amounts in soy beans. Soy beans are very popular and widespread. In the U.S. every third baby is fed on soy–based breast milk substitues. Too little is known about possible adverse effects in Humans when taken over a long period and/or in rather large amounts.
