José Roberto Simões Moreira is a professor at the Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo (USP) specializing in Thermal Engineering and Energy. His research focuses on liquid-vapor phase change, absorption refrigeration, supersonic flow for gas separation, solar energy, solar fuels, hydrogen production, and alternative energy transformation systems. He also coordinates the SISEA- Renewable and Alternative Energy Systems Lab. at USP.

Elí Wilfredo Zavaleta Aguilar is an assistant professor at the Institute of Sciences and Engineering at São Paulo State University (UNESP). His research focuses on solar energy, including concentrated solar energy, ammonia-water absorption refrigeration cycles, and solar photovoltaic applications.
