This book provides a comprehensive source of information on modern aspects of corrosion inhibitors and their applications. This book is unique since this is the first attempt at discussing corrosion inhibition in terms of metal complex formation. Along with the application of hard and soft acid-base principle, ligand field theory, photochemistry, quantum theory, and Sastri equation, both inorganic and organic, the book also covers the development of green inhibitors and their applications to many metals and their alloys many of which have not been dealt with before.
