Books on fuzzy control rarely cover traditional methods, while books on traditional control practically never cover fuzzy control techniques. As a result, fuzzy control is sometimes used where traditional control methods would work much better. A First Course in Fuzzy and Neural Control covers the methodology and the basics of traditional, and fuzzy, and neural control. Since it is the first to fill this niche, this pioneering book will undoubtedly be adopted as a text by many schools, as was the authors' previous First Course book.
