The Oneida Community

The following is a mere preliminary sketch of the most extraordinary and, it is believed, the most valuable enterprise which has ever been undertaken since the foundation of Christianity. If the public interest warrants, it will be followed by a very much more complete and authorita tive work, containing voluminous details which have necessarily been omitted from the present pamphlet. The joint stock company (oneida Community, Limited which has succeeded to the businesses of the Oneida Community, is still in existence and prospering greatly. Its prin cipal office is at Kenwood, Madison County, New York State. Letters addressed there to George W. Noyes, making enquiry about the past history of the Community will receive care ful attention.
