Bettina Rheims e Serge Bramly ha realizzato questo Rose, C'est Paris che è sia una monografia fotografica che un film su dvd. I due artisti infatti rievocano la Ville Lumière in una maniera del tutto nuova e originale: è una Parigi surreale, fatta di identità confuse di fantasmi artistici, di manipolazioni sotterranee, di ossessioni, di desideri feticisti e indecenti. Rose, C'est Paris è al contempo un'opera erotica, di moda, di arte, di metafisica, di archeologia sociale e culturale della capitale francese. Si tratta della storia di due sorelle, chiamate solo con le iniziali B e R e un terzo protagonista, la città stessa. Quando R ritorna nel proprio appartamento e viene a sapere che B è stata rapita dopo una strenua lotta, si apre una sorta di detective story in bianco e nero per le strade, i caffè, i cabaret, le fabbriche abbandonate e i grand hotel di Parigi. Le modelle sono fra le altre Monica Bellucci, Naomi Campbell e Michelle Yeoh.
