TRAMA
This is the definitive reference for anyone involved in pulsewidth modulated DC-to-DC power conversion Pulsewidth Modulated DC-to-DC Power Conversion: Circuits, Dynamics, and Control Designs provides engineers, researchers, and students in the power electronics field with comprehensive and complete guidance to understanding pulsewidth modulated (PWM) DC-to-DC power converters. Presented in three parts, the book addresses the circuitry and operation of PWM DC-to-DC converters and their dynamic characteristics, along with in-depth discussions of control design of PWM DC-to-DC converters. Topics include: * Basics of DC-to-DC power conversion * DC-to-DC converter circuits * Dynamic modeling * Power stage dynamics * Closed-loop performance * Voltage mode control and feedback design * Current mode control and compensation design * Sampling effects of current mode control Featuring fully tested problems and simulation examples as well as downloadable lecture slides and ready-to-run PSpice programs, Pulsewidth Modulated DC-to-DC Power Conversion is an ideal reference book for professional engineers as well as graduate and undergraduate students.NOTE EDITORE
The area of power electronics encompasses all engineering and scientific fields that deal with electrical power. Each power electronics field requires specific knowledge, skill, and expertise dedicated to that field, as well as a solid background on electrical engineering in general. The purpose of this book is to provide such requisites for students, researchers, and engineers working on one specific field of power electronics: the pulsewidth modulated (PWM) dc-to-dc power conversion. This book iswill cover broad aspects of the PWM dc-to-dc power conversion. The proposed book will be written in 12 chapters that can be divided into three parts based on technical contents and targeted readers. The first four chapters cover the circuit and operation of PWM dc-to-dc converters, concentrating on the steady-state time-domain behavior of PWM dc-to-dc converters. The second part of the book deals with the dynamic characteristics of PWM dc-to-dc power conversion, including the modeling, dynamic analysis, and control design of PWM dc-to-dc converters. The later three chapters are devoted to detailed discussions about one very important control scheme for PWM dc-to-dc converters: current mode control. This third part presents the functional basics, dynamic modeling and analysis, compensation design, and applications of current mode control. In particular, this chapter investigates the sampling effect of current mode control in complete details.ALTRE INFORMAZIONI
