Led by Andrew Watts, Newtecnic is one of the world leaders in the engineering design of complex or highly ambitious construction projects and state-of-the-art building envelope systems. Newtecnic is an engineering consultancy that designs building structures, facades and MEP instalations in collaboration with leading international architects and contractors. Founded in 2006, Newtecnic operates as an entirely emplyee-owned and operated organisation. Management of the company has come from within the ranks of the staff, with the team of design professionals completely and solely dedicated to the design engineering of structures, facades and MEP. Newtecnic currently comprises two principals, two associate directors, 16 senior engineers and their supporting team of building engineers. The senior team have worked together for the past ten years. The design engineering work of Newtecnic is tested and validated by the Engineering Deoartment of Cambridge University, where Newtecnic is an industrial partner. Newtecnic holds ISO 9001 certification.
