This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed postproceedings of the 17th International Symposium on Logic-Based Program Synthesis and Transformation, LOPSTR 2007, held in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark, August 23-24, 2007 colocated with SAS 2007. The 13 revised full papers presented together with one invited talk were carefully selected and revised from 30 submissions during two rounds of reviewing and improvement.
