AUTORE
Katerina Alexiou is RCUK Academic Research Fellow at the Open University. She is an architect and holds a PhD from UCL. Her research interest is on complexity and design, particularly focusing on understanding design cognition, creativity, and social aspects of design and decision making. Jeffrey Johnson is Professor of Complexity Science and Design at the Open University, Rector of the Open University for Complex Systems in Paris and President of the Complex Systems Society. He has extensive experience of applications of complexity research to the design and management of social, physical and socio-technical systems. Theodore Zamenopoulos is Lecturer in Design at the Open University. He is an architect with a PhD in design computing and complexity from UCL. He is concerned with mathematical, computational and empirical studies of the neurological and social basis of our ability to design, but also the development of human-computer environments for design support and design learning.
