Swiss photographer Samuel Zeller reveals the quietness and serenity found in some of Europe’s greenest, manmade corners.<br /><br />Starting his project in Geneva’s botanical gardens, Zeller shoots plants through translucent glass, exploring how the shapes and refractions create a blurred beauty reminiscent of impressionist paintings.<br /><br />Using the same technique across Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels and beyond, the photographer draws on classical botanical illustrations from the 19th century to illustrate nature in a contemporary and unusual way.
