The book provides an overview of sustainability as it relates to all the core topics of an MBA: Accounting, Economics, Ethics, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Marketing, Operations, Organizational Behaviour, Strategy with lots of tips and tools on how to bring sustainability into any job or business. There is now an Indian edition and interest in other language editions. Changes to 2eThe book as it is today is a toolkit, a one stop shop to learn about business and sustainability. Changes will aim to keep it that way through updates and provide more resources for readers. The author will be working with experts in the field and academics to make changes to the individual chapters to make them as up to date and useful as possible. This will include updating some of the key concepts in the different topics as well as the trends and new ideas sections. Updates will also be provided for the tools section. Other changes will include; A new introduction as well as a short thought piece on management education and how to move it forward/why this is crucial. Giselle Weybrecht has become a thought leader in this area and this is something many have asked her about. Information about new business models that incorporate sustainability and how businesses are adapting their current business models in new and innovative ways. Strengthening the section on Sustainability Issues area in the additional resources to make this more useful for business readers. This addition will make the book into a very complete reference. Addition of some boxes with thoughts from the well respected/known experts themselves on where the field is going, for examples, in What will the Future Bring? and in the different core topics. Based on requests, adding a short section on Information Management, another core topic in the MBA which is not covered in the book. Provide additional information about intrapraneurship. The whole book is already a toolkit for intrapraneurs and how to make any job more sustainable but as this is a topic more and more people are speaking about.  Weybrecht will spell it out more and provide additional resources for intrapraneurs. (and using this as a marketing tool to sell the books to employees).
