The field of High Energy Physics is experiencing a strong renaissance for several reasons: one, the advent of the new Large Hadron Collider at CERN in Geneva, along with unprecedented computing power for theoretical computations; second, new telescopes in astronomy to investigate high energy events in space. Besides existing MRW and proceedings, a coherently written and comprehensive compendium of particle physics experiments is needed that is linking them to the standard model theory and beyond.
