He got doctor of philosophy in safety and reliability in mechanical engineering from University of Stavanger in 2021. Karan Sotoodeh has almost 16 years of experience in oil and gas industry mainly with valves, piping, actuators and material engineering. He has written four books about piping, valves and actuators and more than 30 papers in peer-reviewed journals. He has been also selected in international conferences in USA, Germany and China to talk about valves, actuators and piping. Karan Sotoodeh has worked with many valve suppliers in Europe in countries like UK, Italy, France, Germany and Norway. He loves travelling, running and spending time in the nature.
