Autore

Professor Tanay Sidki Uyar received his PhD from the Mechanical Engineering Department of Yildiz Technical University in 1990. He worked as a senior research scientist for the TUBITAK Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey, before becoming an Assistant Professor at Kocaeli University in 1994. He held a number of teaching and research positions, and is now a Professor of Renewable Energy at Marmara University.

Professor Uyar is a member of multiple different professional organisations. He is a founding member of the Turkish Wind Energy Association and of the Turkish section of the International Solar Energy Society. He is a Vice President for EUROSOLAR and for the World Wind Energy Association.

Professor Uyar has written over 100 papers, contributed chapters to 30 books, and edited numerous others.
