I created this Journal to help assist children write down their emotions. I would like to encourage children, especially kids with special needs to capture their emotions on paper. All children do better with drawing their emotions verses verbally expressing them and this is a great cognitive tool to help parents, educators, and therapist understand children's emotions both written and visually. My hope is this journal will help a child unlock their creativity and emotions they can't verbally express in both print and visually. This journal will also allow a child to understand and practice 6 of the 7 key facial expressions based on the universal emotions everyone expresses on a regular basis. My aim is to help them understand facial expressions through repetition throughout the journal. Designing all the pictures so that it can help children read others emotions on a regular basis, both on The Spectrum and not being Autistic. I will continue to create and design children's books based on my life that have helped me with my son and see dramatic and small improvements in his progress in his different symptoms from Autism. As most parents knows there are multiple issues that comes with your child being on The Spectrum, ADHD, ADD, Dyslexia, Depression, and several other diagnoses may come with it.
