Laboratory Hematology Practice

Owing to rapid changes in the availability of technology and assays for haematology laboratories, there is a need for guidance in the proper selection of new testing methods for all laboratories. Haematologists and pathologists who run these need to critically understand, assess, implement and manage a wide variety of hematologic technologies, including cellular analysis, flow cytometry, molecular diagnostics, haemostasis testing, point-of-care testing and information management. This new international textbook concentrates on all the technological aspects of the practice of laboratory haematology and is structured along technology lines instead of by disease category.
